Refund Policy

Private Lesson Refund Policy

At Clem Skates, I understand that schedules can change due to weather, illness, and unexpected events. This policy is designed to be fair, flexible, and respectful of both your time and mine while protecting scheduled lesson availability.

By booking a lesson, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private lesson.

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance may be:

    • Rescheduled at no additional cost, or

    • Refunded upon request

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson will be charged 50% of the lesson fee, unless otherwise approved due to emergency circumstances.

2. No-Shows

  • Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will be considered a no-show.

  • No-shows are non-refundable and will be charged the full lesson fee.

3. Weather Policy (Outdoor Lessons)

  • Safety is the priority for all outdoor lessons.

  • In the event of unsafe weather conditions (including rain, lightning, ice, extreme heat, or poor air quality), the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

  • Weather-related cancellations will not incur penalties or fees.

4. Illness Policy

  • If you are sick or experiencing symptoms, please prioritize your health and stay home.

  • Illness-related cancellations may be rescheduled at no additional cost, even if made with short notice.

  • Refunds are not provided for illness-related cancellations.

5. Refund Policy

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at booking.

  • Please allow 3–10 business days for refunds to appear in your account.

  • Processing times are determined by your bank or payment provider and are outside of our control.

6. Instructor Cancellations

  • If Clem Skates needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson for any reason, clients will receive:

    • A full refund, or

    • The option to reschedule at no additional cost

7. Payment Method

  • A valid payment method (card on file) may be required to secure booking.

  • Charges will only be applied according to the cancellation policy above.

Arkansas Skater Tots Refund Policy

At Arkansas Skater Tots, we understand that plans can change due to weather, illness, and unexpected circumstances. This policy is designed to be fair while also protecting event planning, reserved spaces, and instructional time.

By registering for an Arkansas Skater Tots event, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an event registration.

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance may be: Rescheduled to a future event, or Issued as a credit toward a future Skater Tots event

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event will be charged 50% of the event fee, even in cases of illness or personal scheduling conflicts.

This policy is in place due to limited spots, planning, and resources required to host each event.

2. No-Shows

Failure to attend a registered event without prior notice will be considered a no-show.

  • No-shows are non-refundable

  • No credit or rescheduling will be provided

3. Weather Policy (Outdoor Events)

Safety is the top priority for all Arkansas Skater Tots events. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, including rain, lightning, ice, extreme heat, or poor air quality, the event may be delayed, modified, rescheduled, or canceled at the discretion of Clem Skates / Arkansas Skater Tots.

If an event is canceled due to weather, participants will be given the following options:

  • Reschedule their registration to a future event at no additional cost

  • Refunds for weather-related cancellations are not guaranteed and are issued at the discretion of Clem Skates / Arkansas Skater Tots. Where possible, participants will be offered rescheduling or credit. Refunds may be granted in cases where rescheduling is not available or in unique circumstances, and must be requested via email for approval.

Weather-related cancellations are not subject to any additional fees or penalties.

4. Credit & Rescheduling Policy

Approved cancellations made within the eligible timeframe may be issued as:

  • Event credit for future Arkansas Skater Tots programs, or

  • Rescheduled attendance at a future event (based on availability)

Credits are non-transferable unless otherwise approved.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are not guaranteed for Arkansas Skater Tots events due to advance planning, reserved space, and materials.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used at registration.

Please allow 3–10 business days for processing. Timing depends on your bank or payment provider.

 

6. Event Cancellations by Organizer

If an Arkansas Skater Tots event must be canceled for any reason, participants will receive:

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit toward a future event, or

  • The option to reschedule (if applicable)

7. Payment Policy

Full payment or deposit may be required to reserve a spot in any Arkansas Skater Tots event.

By registering, you agree to the cancellation, refund, and credit terms listed above.

Business Collaborations & Partnerships Disclaimer

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies only to individual clients booking private skate lessons or services through Clem Skates booking channels.

Any bookings, services, or agreements made with companies, organizations, event partners, or business collaboratorsare not covered under this policy.

All business-to-business collaborations, sponsored events, group contracts, or partnership arrangements will be handled through a separate written agreement, which will outline specific terms including (but not limited to) payment structure, cancellation terms, rescheduling policies, deliverables, and liability.

No services for business or organizational partners are considered confirmed until a signed, individualized contract has been agreed upon by all parties involved.
